07/20/06 There have been a few small changes in rules made. The Combined Division has a revised scoring system. There have been some very small changes to clarify tricks in both sports divisions and missing descriptions have been added.

06/27/06 There has been an update to the General Freestyle Rules. Hungry and Mexico are added to countries seeded into 1A and 2A. We have also expanded seeding for 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, and 5A to include contestants that took 1st place in that division in 2005.

The 2006 World Yo-Yo contest will take place on August 10, 11 and 12 - 2006.

The 2006 World Yo-Yo Contest will be held during the second week of August. The hall will open on the evening of Wednesday August 9th and will close about 10pm on Saturday August 12th. There will be no events on the 13th. Once again, This event will be held two weeks later than last years event.

The 2006 World Yo-Yo Contest will have a Sport, A, AA division. There will also be Off String, AAA and Counterweight (FreehandTM) divisions. competition, as well as being the host to the World Top Contest. We will have two rooms of specialty workshops and panel discussions on all related topics.

The event site has 22 foot ceilings, and over 10,000 feet of yo-yoing space. This space will be open 24 hours a day starting Wednesday night, and ending at Midnight Saturday.
