2001 World Yo-Yo Contest Charity Auction (Saturday August 4th 2001)

The 2001 World Yo-Yo Contest will again be hosting a silent charity auction. All proceeds from this auction will go to help a local shelter for abused children. Like last year we are trying to have our event help the local children of Central Florida. And you can help in two ways.

Number one, we are looking for donations to this auction. If you have a collectable, rare or weird yo-yo related object you would like to donate, please do. You can just bring it on the day of the event. Go to the collectors area on Saturday morning, and they will be able to help you.

The other way you can help is to bid on these items. All Saturday a silent auction will take place. Get the cool stuff you've been looking for and help the children of Central Florida.

Last year we raised over $1000 for this shelter. This year we would like to double that total.

Dr. Lucky Meisenheimer will be overseeing this auction in the Collectors area he is hosting. Valerie from Yo-Yo Jam is handling the rest of the details (heck, this was her idea, lets give her a hand)
