Getting to the hotel(s) from the Airport.

Thanks to Red for this tip: You can get to the hotel from the Airport by Shuttle Buss and Taxi, but if you have the time and are looking to save money, there is a city bus that stops right across the street from the hotels. At the airport get directions to the Lynx line 42 (Lynx is the name of the Orlando Bus Service). Get off at Point Orlando, the stop before the convention center on International Drive.

Well we are selling out all the area hotels. Here are a few more that are close to the convetion site, please double check with the hotels in question, but they should be in walking distance. Keep in mind I have not walked this distance, so I am just not sure. At this time there are no convetion special rates for these hotels. Please contact them for room rates and availability.

Hotel Information: The Rosen Plaza Hotel

At this time the Rosen plaza is sold out on Sat. July 30th and Sunday July 31st. We have set up the Quality Inn (below) if you need a room on those nights.

The 2005 World Yo-Yo Contest will be held in the Rosen Plaza Hotel The competition will be held in the hotel in their convention center. The event site will be open 24 hours a day, starting 5pm on Wednesday evening and ending on Saturday night at about midnight. We encourage staying at this hotel to enjoy the event to it's fullest, as it's not going to stop for three days. There are 24 hour resturants in this hotel and a varity of recreational activities. It is also convient to all of the Orlando tourist attractions.

The discounted convention rate is $89.00/night per room, for up to 4 occupancy. Reservations can currently be made only by phone to 1-800-627-8258. Just ask for the World Yo-Yo Contest convention rate.
